Rescue at The Headlands
On Saturday, April 25, 2020 Austin and his wife, Lauren were enjoying a beautiful day at the Headlands when a rock fell off the cliffs and hit Austin in the head. Lauren used her beach towel as a compress to stop Austin's bleeding. Because Austin was a bit disoriented and not 100% able to walk back home, Lauren called 911. I was amazed at how quickly everyone appeared. There were land, air, and sea crews on standby to help. I would like to commend everyone involved on what a great job you all did and how well you worked together. Orange County has well trained emergency personnel that should be very proud of their skills!
Again, thank you everyone for a job well done!
